VERY CLEAN SLED , NEEDS TWO BOGGIE WHEELS
It won't back down. It will, however, back up.
Add reverse to the ripply muscled RX-1 and you're looking at the top-of-the-line RX-1 ER. In fact, you're looking at the sled that changed the way everyone looks at sleds.
The revolution is back and badder than ever with the massive torque of a 20-valve 998cc four-stroke, 22 pounds lighter, and with an even more fantastic ride courtesy of its excellent, new, industry-exclusive Mono-Shock RA (remote adjust) rear suspension. It rides almost weightlessly, thanks to a 20-position clicker shock out back that has a setting for any situation.
The RX-1 ER offers you features like a chassis filled with lightweight components – a titanium exhaust system, magnesium engine covers, aluminum A-arms – while you enjoy the kind of acceleration that can only come from a four-stroke powerband – acceleration that’ll make your heart skip a beat, speed that’ll curl your toes.
Enhanced comfort is provided this year via a taller, thicker seat and higher handlebars.
Electric starting is standard on the four-strokes, and you get digital-controlled hand and thumb warmers with memory reset, an easy-pull throttle, the brightest lights on the snow thanks to a 425-watt magneto. Oh yeah, it's clean, quiet and fuel-efficient because it's a four-stroke.
Available in Team Yamaha Blue/White, Candy Red, Matte Black (Limited Edition).
When you go, you might as well go all the way.
